![]() ![]() If you want to bind your remote from rclone to your system, you can use the rclone mount commant. ![]() I've seen a couple of people on reddit saying, that this is not really necessary and can maybe hurt Google in the long run (because of some data hash douplication check or something, but with the media i host, it wouldn't make a big difference, because my library size is relatively low compared to some other on r/DataHoarder) ![]() In my setup, that i still would use as a backup, i added a Google Drive remote and put a Crypt remote inside that one. I don't know the exact limit number, but i read somewhere, that if you use -bwlimit 8M you shouldn't come near the limit. For normal use this is totally fine, but the Drive API has a 24h transfer limit, that can be surpassed really fast with Plex and media streaming. Also, if you leave rclone Drive setting untouched after linking your account, it is allowed to transfer data with unlimited speed. On my Setup, 2 - 3 simultaneously would work well without buffering (HD content that is)Īfter that i start to get buffering. So first of all, the cloud option with rclone works very well, if you dont have that many users streaming concurrently. Hey, just wanted to chime in, because currently i use this setup to store my files (though i'm right now in the middle of transfering them to local storage).
